HOW TO MAKE CHAIN ON GOOGLE SKETCHUP

Hello guys . in this tutorial I will show you how to make a chain so easy and perfectly on google sketchup like this picture bellow 

Here the plugin tool that I used in this tutorial

CLF component stringer

Lets start the tutorial

Step 1

Make chain part like this picture bellow

Step 2

Make chain track like picture bellow using bazier spline 

Step 3

Right click on the chains track and then convert it into polyline segmentor

Then just type how many segment of the curved line that we made. This segment is represent how many chain part that we made on the curved line. In this example bellow I type 20 segment of the line so there are 20 chain part on the curve line. 

Step 4

Make chain part that we made to be component and make sure that the chain part position at the center of origin axis in the component and the position of chain part to axis line is same as this picture bellow 

Step 5

Select chain part component and curved line and then click component stringer command. It showed in this picture bellow

Step 6

Make  component stringer setting following  this picture bellow

Step 7

Click ok and here the result
